Client Styling with Ashley and Sean

I recently had the pleasure of shopping with Ashley, a 2012 bride (check back for images from her engagement session soon). It only took 2 stores to find the perfect outfit for her. Everything she tried on looked great! Her shoes, however, were a different story. Store after store, day after day she finally found the right shoes!

Coming out of a Down East Basics in the mall we ran into Ashley’s future hubby, Sean. We ended up doing a little shopping for him too!

Shortly before our shopping trip, The adorable couple filmed a love story video. The videographer sent her a link to the video while we were at the mall. I stepped aside to give them a little privacy while they watched it for the first time but couldn’t help snapping a shot : )

James Barron of Altared Visions visited for a week from Boston. I was so excited to get out and shoot with him! He also brought along Mario Fontes of Fontes Fotography and Sarah Rodis who is getting a proper education in this creative field. Stevie Duda, a sweetheart of a makeup artist/hair stylist, joined us to doll up our stunning model, Mrs. Jaclyn Romero.

I hope I speak for everyone when I say I had a blast! It’s nice to get out and learn new things about my art. It’s even better when you are learning with a fantastic group of people. I took some behind the scenes photos while everyone worked away. Unfortunately, however, I somehow missed getting images of our lightstand, Mario. Hahahaaaa! He stood there hard at work making sure the flash was in just the right place for the rest of us to get just the right shot, all the while still getting his shots in as well.

I will definitely be looking these fantastic people up again for a fun shoot. I have some great ideas I have been wanting to put in to motion!

Thank you guys for coming out and spending your Sunday with me. It means so much to be able to brainstorm with a friendly, creative group. I look forward to another shoot with you soon : )

In my search for that perfect dress I came across an amazing designer, Jill Stuart. I am completely enthralled with her dresses. One small problem….her dresses only seem to be available in Tokyo. Booo…

Growth Chart Set (3 month)

It has been brought to my attention that I have not been sharing my images lately. I apologize for my slacking : ) I hope this will make it all better!

This is the 3 month session of a 5 stage Growth Chart set. The Rose family is always such a pleasure to work with. I swear their little man is always smiling. I don’t think he has cried even once during either of our shoots.

Me too! My husband and I will be renewing our vows in celebration of our 10 year anniversary. We skipped the big wedding and made a quick visit to the justice of the peace followed by dinner and a movie We promised each other that we would do it right someday and have my dad there to walk me down the aisle.

I have been scouring the internet for that perfect wedding dress. Let me tell you, they come with a HEFTY price tag. I’m a frugal girl and would like to think of myself as a “smart shopper”. I came across several sites offering stunning dresses at fantastic prices. Dresses you would pay thousands of dollars for at the bridal shops are listed for only a few hundred dollars on these sites. I was ecstatic!

And then I found this……

I would love to hear your thoughts about this topic. Have you ever ordered a dress this important from a source such as thes? Would you recommend it? Why or why not?
